Mary Tillery

Mary Tillery is the Regional Manager for NC State Industry Extension Services (IES) serving Central North Carolina, including Alamance, Caswell, Columbus, Cumberland, Hoke, Montgomery, Orange, Randolph, Richmond, Robeson and Scotland counties. Previously, Mary served as Business Development Manager for IES, working with the Regional Manager team supporting their efforts to identify and serve small to mid size manufacturers across North Carolina. For the past four years, she has worked on a variety of NCMEP initiatives. She has also worked with NCMEP partners as well as manufacturers, government agencies and organizations in North Carolina.

Prior to joining IES, Mary worked for Cape Fear Community College in customized training, partnering with NC Works and other economic development organizations to assess the needs of manufacturers and deliver on-site services and training, including Lean, ISO 9001, HAZWOPER and a variety of occupational health and safety classes. Mary also worked with companies to help them attract and train their workforce. In addition, Mary has more than 10 years of technical sales and support experience in telecommunications. Mary has a B.A. in communication from NC State University.
