Michelle Daniels

Michelle Daniels serves as the executive assistant to the NC State University Industry Expansion Solutions (IES) executive director and the associate executive director of Industry Expansion Solutions. Michelle provides administrative support to the executive office, she is responsible for the logistical management of the IES Advisory Board and IES core leadership team. Michelle is also responsible for stakeholder and partner management for North Carolina Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NCMEP).

Before coming to IES, Michelle worked for the New York City (NYC) government serving as the executive assistant to the deputy commissioner for the bureau of enforcement at (NYC) Department of Buildings. Before being promoted she served as the office coordinator and assistant to the borough commissioner of the NYC Department of Buildings, Development HUB.

Michelle obtained a graduate certificate in Professional Communication and Mangerial Skills from NC State university, holds a Bachelor of Science Degree and an Associate of Science degree in law and paralegal studies from the City University of New York (CUNY) New York City College of Technology (City Tech).

Michelle is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Criminal Justice at East Carolina University. In her spare time, she enjoys being in nature, going for walks and spending time with her family.
